Strengthening Its Commitment to a Thriving Workforce: Export Bahrain wins Workplace Wellness and Employee Wellbeing Award at the 2025 BSCM Excellence Awards

Export Bahrain has been awarded the “Workplace Wellness and Employee Wellbeing Award – Private Sector Category” at the 2025 Bahrain Society for Human Capital Management Excellence Awards, in recognition of its sustained efforts to foster a healthy and sustainable work environment that prioritizes employee wellbeing and the development of its human capital.

On this occasion, H.E. Mr. Abdullah bin Adel Fakhro, Minister of Industry and Commerce, Chairman of Export Bahrain, praised the achievement, noting that prioritizing employee wellbeing and a healthy work environment is a cornerstone of institutional development and essential to strengthening Export Bahrain’s ability to deliver high quality services to the Kingdom’s enterprises.

The Chief Executive Officer of Export Bahrain, Ms. Safa Sharif Abdulkhaliq, affirmed that this achievement reflects the entity’s commitment to enhancing employee wellbeing and developing a supportive and sustainable workplace built on advanced human capital initiatives. She highlighted that receiving this award demonstrates the impact of Export Bahrain’s comprehensive programs and initiatives in human resources development, which aim to enhance productivity, improve employee satisfaction, and support continuous professional growth.

Export Bahrain received this recognition for its initiatives aimed at promoting employee wellbeing and creating a positive work environment through programs that include professional development, support for work-life balance, and health and wellness initiatives. Internal committees such as the Equal Opportunities Committee and the Social Committee have also played a key role in reinforcing a fair, engaging, and motivating workplace culture, positively contributing to productivity, employee satisfaction, and overall institutional performance.
