As part of their joint efforts to support youth businesses and enhance their growth and expansion opportunities, the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Export Bahrain held a series of informational and interactive sessions for businesses benefiting from the “Youth Market” initiative. The sessions focused on building awareness of export opportunities and the requirements for entering international markets, while providing young entrepreneurs with a clearer understanding of the opportunities available to expand beyond the local market. More than 60 youth businesses participated in the sessions.

The sessions included an introductory session titled “From Local to Global: How to Build an Export-Ready Business,” which provided participants with practical insights into the export journey, including key export concepts, initial steps for identifying target markets, and the solutions and services offered by Export Bahrain to support businesses as they develop their export readiness and explore international opportunities.

The program also featured a series of roundtable discussions with youth businesses operating across various sectors, including food and beverage, fashion, arts and crafts, and cosmetics. The sessions provided entrepreneurs with an opportunity to share their experiences and aspirations, while discussing key challenges and opportunities related to business development.

The roundtable sessions also facilitated direct engagement and knowledge exchange among participating youth businesses, providing insights into practical business development experiences and fostering discussions around the opportunities and challenges associated with transitioning from local to regional and international markets.

These activities form part of the ongoing collaboration between the two entities to develop the “Youth Market” initiative, which aims to support youth in transforming their ideas and ambitions into promising and sustainable ventures, while enhancing their access to the entrepreneurship and export support ecosystem. The collaboration also reflects the two entities’ commitment to strengthening export awareness among businesses from an early stage and expanding their access to opportunities in regional and international markets.
