Export Bahrain and Danube Showcase ‘Made in Bahrain’ Products

Export Bahrain attended the opening ceremony of Danube Supermarket at AlLiwan, Hamala, which was inaugurated by HE Mr. Zayed R. Alzayani, Minister of Industry and Commerce, to celebrate Danube’s first branch outside the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
Managed by BinDawood Holding, Danube Supermarket is one of the leading grocery retailers, with branches spread all across the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The brand is associated with high-quality products, a wide variety of premium offerings in addition to its long-standing client relationship.
In a joint effort to promote Bahrain-made products and shed light on the productivity of local businesses, a selection of products of national origin were showcased at the opening ceremony, all of which to be shelved in local and over 82 regional branches of Danube in future. The partnership is in line with Export Bahrain’s vision to provide new solutions to encourage the export and recognition of national product brands -in markets across the region and globe.
Danube’s 82nd branch, which represents the first out of KSA, confirm their strong commitment and tireless efforts to promote products of local origin regionally. In this regard, Export Bahrain will be working closely with Danube Supermarket to identify demanded products that meet consumer and market requirements across all product segments supporting the supermarkets’ caliber of products and increase the presence of home-made quality items for consumers under one roof.
